Instinct Pest Management was born in 2023 to serve the Roaring Fork Valley by Tate Eberly. Our esteemed clients refer to him as “our friendly neighborhood extermiTater.“ He has called New Castle, CO his home for over five years and has spent that entire time honing his craft and expertise as a pest management professional. Several years ago Tate achieved his goal of becoming the youngest licensed QS in the valley, prior to forming Instinct. His next goal in 2025 is to become the youngest Associate Certified Entomologist on this side of the western slope.
Hailing from Columbus, Ohio - Tate radiates the charm and gentleness that growing up in the Midwest instills in its natives. Our founder enjoys many facets of life: family, football, camping, hiking, skiing, humor, and dancing at concerts. His biggest childhood hero was the late and great Steve Irwin. From a young age the crocodile hunter influenced Tate on the importance of decisive action, conservation, and honor. These values shine through Instinct's body of work.
Thousands of hours in field experience coupled with relentless continued education has moved Tate to continually remain fresh in his processes and to never extinguish the burning desire to ascertain precision. Tate is passionate about providing clients with an exceptional experience during important or unpleasant times. He innovates ways to have you "trust our instinct so your worries go extinct" when facing pest issues that you, your clients, family, neighbors, and friends will encounter living in the mountains.
